You can use the integrated RWG (Random World Generation) by configuring the seed in serverconfig.xml. For Nitrogen or custom maps, simply upload the map files via FTP to the GeneratedWorlds folder. Supported sizes up to 16K.
This depends on your configuration and mods. For 7D2D: 8 GB RAM = ~20-30 players, 16 GB = ~40-50 players, 32 GB = ~64 players. 7D2D is resource-intensive with many zombies and loot. AMD Ryzen 9 CPU performance is crucial.
Yes, EAC is enabled by default to protect against cheaters. You can disable it in serverconfig.xml if you want a private server with friends or to test mods. Disabling EAC also allows certain client-side mods.
All configuration is done via XML files accessible through FTP: loot.xml for loot tables, entityclasses.xml for zombie stats, progression.xml for XP. You have full control over difficulty, spawns, hordes, loot quality and quantity.
