How to update your FiveM server artifact on OuiHeberg
Changing the artifact of your FiveM server on OuiHeberg is a simple yet crucial process to keep your server up-to-date and secure. Here's a step-by-step guide to perform this task effectively.
Step 1: Selecting the Artifact Version
Start by visiting the FiveM Artifacts site. Here, you'll find a list of artifact versions available for Linux servers. Take the time to choose the version that best fits your needs.
Step 2: Copy the Link Address
Once you've chosen a version, right-click on the download icon next to that version, then select "Copy link address". For example, if you chose the version "7277-0b61c93a3308360ea70d443398eab17f47453e11", the copied link would look like: https://runtime.fivem.net/artifacts/fivem/build_proot_linux/master/7277-0b61c93a3308360ea70d443398eab17f47453e11/fx.tar.xz
.
Step 3: Extract the Version Identifier
In the copied link, you need to extract the part between https://runtime.fivem.net/artifacts/fivem/build_proot_linux/master/
and /fx.tar.xz
. In our example, this would be 7277-0b61c93a3308360ea70d443398eab17f47453e11
.
Step 4: Update on OuiPanel
Log in to your OuiPanel and navigate to the "Server Configuration" section. In the "FIVEM VERSION" part, paste the extracted version identifier from earlier, for example 7277-0b61c93a3308360ea70d443398eab17f47453e11
. Press enter to save this modification.
Step 5: Reinstall the Server
For the changes to take effect, switch sections to go to "Settings". Here, you'll find the option "Reinstall server". By clicking this button, your server will be reinstalled. Note that only the 'alpine' folder will be removed during this reinstallation.
