Installation Steps

  1. Log in to OuiPanel
  2. Select your Minecraft server
  3. In the side menu, click on Version Manager
  4. Select the Modpack tab

☕ Java Configuration

Modpacks often require a specific version of Java.

Change Java Version on OuiPanel

  1. Go to Configuration → Server Settings

👥 Install Client-Side Modpack

For players to join your server, they must have the exact same modpack installed on their computer.

Option 1: CurseForge App (Recommended)

  1. Download CurseForge App from curseforge.overwolf.com
  2. Install and launch the application
  3. Click on Minecraft under games
  4. Search for the same modpack as on the server
  5. Click on Install
  6. Once installed, click Play

Option 2: Modrinth App

  1. Download Modrinth App from modrinth.com/app
  2. Install and log in with your Microsoft account
  3. Click on Browse → Modpacks
  4. Search for and install the modpack
  5. Launch the game

Option 3: Prism Launcher

  1. Download Prism Launcher from prismlauncher.org
  2. Create a new instance
  3. Import the modpack (.zip or .mrpack file)
  4. Configure the RAM (see next section)
  5. Launch the game

Configure RAM on the client side

RAM must also be configured on the players' computer!

In CurseForge App

  1. Click on the ⚙️ icon Settings (bottom left)
  2. In the left menu, click on Minecraft
  3. Find Java Settings
  4. Adjust the slider Allocated Memory
  5. Recommended: 6-10 GB depending on the modpack

In Prism Launcher

  1. Select the modpack instance
  2. Click on Edit → Settings
  3. Tab Java
  4. Check Memory and adjust the values
  5. Minimum: 4096 MB | Maximum: 8192 MB (or more)

🔄 Update a Modpack

On OuiPanel

  1. Go to Version Manager → Modpack
  2. The current modpack is displayed
  3. If an update is available, click on Update
  4. Select the new version
  5. Confirm the installation

⚠️ Attention: Make a backup before updating!

Check Compatibility

Before updating:

  1. Check the modpack release notes
  2. Ensure the update is compatible with your world
  3. Inform your players to update their client

🔧 Troubleshooting

Server doesn't start after installation
